Allegra Oxborough is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY and co-founder of production company Eldest Daughter. Their 2018 docu-fiction short, “Distance,” was praised by NoBudge.com for its “intoxicating ability to capture private conversations with dead-on accuracy,” and by a Short of the Week programmer for “Amazing performances and direction.” Oxborough’s recent film works have screened at Academy Award-qualifying festivals and museums worldwide, including the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, LA Shorts International, Brooklyn Film Festival, and Paris Film Week. Their recent short “I Already Went” premiered in May 2024 at Vienna Shorts International. Allegra’s debut original feature screenplay “Nothing to Hide” won the International Screenwriters’ Association’s Table Read My Screenplay Grand Prize and received a table read at Cannes Marché du Film in 2025, where Allegra also pitched the feature as part of the Linz International Film Academy cohort. Their fiction short in post-production “Welcome to Paris” is a top 5 finalist in Shore Script’s 2025 Short Film Fund, and Oxborough’s next short film in development “Portrait” is a 2025 NYSCA awardee, WeScreenplay’s Shorts Semi-Finalist, and ScreenCraft Film Fund Quarter Finalist.

Rafaela is a producer living in Los Angeles, California and co-founder of Eldest Daughter. Her work spans the creative and the commercial, producing campaigns for clients like Adidas, Lululemon and Away, to editorials for Elle UK, Playboy, and the LA Times’ Image magazine. She produced 2023 Short of the Week pick “Hangtime” (written and directed by Chester Toye), and her 2024 short “I Already Went” (written and directed by Allegra Oxborough), premiered in May 2024 at Vienna Shorts International. Most recently, she was a participant of the Stowe Producers Lab in June 2025.
